The ACEC Research Institute has begun accepting applications for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. Scholarships are available to students entering their junior, senior, or fifth year pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or in an accredited land-surveying program.

Overview:
Applicants must be entering their junior, senior, fifth, or master’s degree year, in the fall of the coming year to qualify for the general scholarships. In addition, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or in an accredited land-surveying program to qualify. Bachelor’s students must be in an ABET-accredited engineering program; Master’s students must either be in an ABET-accredited Master of Science (MS) engineering program or have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
Applicant should be articulate and nice bonus if work during school has been published with academia or work/internship projects.

The ACEC Land Surveyors True North Scholarship was created to assist in the continued growth of young Surveyors / Geospatial technicians and Professionals, and to ensure advancement of future Professionals.

U.S. Citizenship is required to qualify for ACEC National Scholarships.
General Scholarship Guidelines:
- Will be enrolled in a technical program, community college, or as a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, fifth, or master’s degree year, in the fall of 2023.

Overview:
This scholarship should be awarded to any engineering student with a priority to students with a high Grade Point Average and those with financial need. This scholarship is open to all who meet this criteria, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation.

The J.A. Watts, Inc. Diversity in Engineering Scholarship will award funding to students of color who have been traditionally underrepresented in the field of engineering. Students must be a U.S. citizen entering their junior, senior, or fifth year, or master’s degree program, pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an ABET-accredited engineering program or in an accredited land-surveying program.
J.A. Watts, Incorporated is looking for well-rounded students committed to their school work and who are also engaged in their university and communities. Activities considered are student-led academic and professional organizations, clubs and teams, and athletic organizations. Work experience and internships would be given the same consideration.
