The Louis Berger Group, Inc. (LBG) was contracted by the City of Raleigh Public Works Department to perform a comprehensive transportation engineering and land use planning study for the Crabtree Valley Area. The results comprise a long-range transportation strategy for the area, which is a major regional activity center envisioned to have interconnected, urban-scale, mixed-use developments within a pedestrian and transit-accessible environment. LBG conducted an in-depth analysis of existing and future travel demands and an evaluation of transportation needs to accommodate future growth. LBG was also responsible for the extensive public involvement component, soliciting input from residents and business owners.
